Are the Cherrylake Farm Races still going on this year?

Unfortunately, we have decided to cancel the 2021 Cherrylake Farm Races. However, the 2022 Farm Races will be here before we know it, and we'd love to see you there! Keep an eye out on our social media pages, like Facebook and Instagram, for up to date information on the next Farm Races.


What if I already registered for the 2021 Farm Races?

We will be processing full refunds. Once processed, your refund will be applied back towards the original card that was used for your registration. This should post within 5 - 7 business days (or the end of September, 2020). You should receive an email confirmation of your refund within 24 hours of it being processed.


What do I do if I have not received my refund yet?

If you do not see this refund as being credited to your account within that time frame (5 - 7 business days from processing, or until the end of September), please contact finance@runsignup.com. Please be aware that some Credit Card companies can take longer to process the refund, affecting the time it takes to be reflected on your account. Racers can check the status of their refunds by logging into their runsignup account.


What is the address to the race location?

The race will be held at Cherrylake, located at 7836 Cherry Lake Road Groveland, FL 34736.


Are strollers allowed on the course?

The course footing is not suited for any type of stroller. Strollers are allowed at the venue though.


Are dogs allowed on the course?

No, according to our insurance provider, we cannot allow dogs on the course.


What nutrition and hydration is available on the course?

When and where will packet pick-up be?

What are the courses like?

All of the runs are off road through the scenic farm. There are hills, there is softer sand and harder sand. The bike for the duathlon is all on paved roads and the transition is also on a road.


Where should I stay?

Are these races walker friendly?

Yes! There are no time cut-offs, we just ask that you sign up for the race that best suits your abilities.


What do I need to bring with me to packet pick-up?

Duathletes need to bring their photo ID and valid and current USAT card, and duathletes are only able to pick up their own packet. 5k and 10k participants can pick up for themselves and others.


Can I use headphones while racing?

Duathletes - NO, not on any part of the course. 5k and 10k participants may use headphones.


What is the weather policy?

The races will take place, rain or shine. They will not take place if there is lightning in the area.


Can my family hang out at the finish line?

Yes! Spectators are welcome to be near the finish line to cheer you on. Anyone 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the farm.


What is the cancellation policy?

We love to see you commit to the Farm Races early, but we also know sometimes life forces schedules to change. If that happens, you have options. You can choose and manage these from your RunSignUp login.

  • Up to 60 days before the race, cancel and receive a full refund minus a 10% processing fee.
  • 60 to 30 days before the race, cancel and receive a 50% refund.
  • Anytime up to 5 days before the race, you can transfer your entry to another person, at no charge.

Rain or shine, the Farm Races will be held on the scheduled date. In the event of an unforeseen need to reschedule the race to a different date, you can request a full refund minus a 10% processing within the first 30 days of the date change announcement. You will also have the option to transfer your race entry to another person, free of charge. Please note, donations will not be refunded under any of these circumstances.
