What does my race entry get me?A race bib, a commemorative organic cotton t-shirt, a unique finisher’s medal, post race food, accurate timing, a fun time with the active community.
What is the address to the race location?The race will be held at Cherrylake, located at 7836 Cherry Lake Road Groveland, FL 34736.
What time does the race start?The 5k and 10k races start at 8:10 am, and the Duathlon race starts at 8:00 am. We recommend you give yourself around 15 minutes to find parking, so make sure to come early. If you are picking up your race packet on Saturday morning, we recommend you arrive at 7:00 am.
Are strollers allowed on the course?The course footing is not suited for any type of stroller. Strollers are allowed at the venue though.
Are dogs allowed on the course?No, according to our insurance provider, we cannot allow dogs on the course.
What nutrition and hydration is available on the course?We have 2 aid stations for the 5k/Duathlon 1st run, 1 for the 2.5k which is the Duathlon 2nd run and 4 aid stations for the 10k. Aid station #1 will have water, Aid stations #2 & #3 will have water, Skratch Labs Hydration, Aid Station #4 will have water, Skratch Labs Hydration and Gu.
When and where will packet pick-up be?Friday February 7th from 4PM - 7PM at Dash Sports (741 W Montrose St Clermont, FL 34711). Saturday Morning at 6:30 AM at Cherrylake (7836 Cherry Lake Rd. Groveland, FL US 34736).
What are the courses like?All of the runs are off road through the scenic farm. There are hills, there is softer sand and harder sand. The bike for the duathlon is all on paved roads and the transition is also on a road.
Where should I stay?We have a few hotels that have agreed to provide room blocks for our race. These hotels are located within Clermont, all less than 10 miles from our farm. To view that list and get more information, visit our Race Details page.
Are these races walker friendly?Yes! There are no time cut-offs, we just ask that you sign up for the race that best suits your abilities.
What do I need to bring with me to packet pick-up?Duathletes need to bring their photo ID and valid and current USAT card, and duathletes are only able to pick up their own packet. 5k and 10k participants can pick up for themselves and others.
Can I use headphones while racing?Duathletes - NO, not on any part of the course. 5k and 10k participants may use headphones.
What is the weather policy?The races will take place, rain or shine. They will not take place if there is lightning in the area.
Can my family hang out at the finish line?Yes! Spectators are welcome to be near the finish line to cheer you on. Anyone 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the farm.
